2 More Down....

And boy does my brain hurt tonight!!! LOL....I've struggled with this layout most all day.....There were so many pictures from their dinner with Mickey and I wanted to make sure I did them justice.......After a long struggle of ideas I just didn't like I came up with this one......I created an album on a page......Of course you KNOW I had to use my cricut!!! :) I designed an album to put the pictures into........as you can see here and lined the cover with acetate to give it a see through back.......I used velcro to close it.......

On this page I scanned the folder the pictures came in and then printed the graphics out on printer paper and cut this one out by hand.......of them standing one each other's shoulders......the Chef Mickey's I created in Inscape and cut with SCAL..........

I am happy with the way the pages turned out but boy did they take me a while!!! I am as usual including all the files I created today to create these layouts in case any of you might be interested in them....please feel free to download them!!! :)

Another Page....

Down.....I'm trying my best to make each page it's own design.....This one had ALOT of cut files I created today.......the words of course, the double heart frame the castle and tinkerbell......The tinkerbell I created from a colorbook image using the paintbucket technique in Inkscape...first time I've used this technique and it was really fun.....I did ALOT of tweeking on this file to merge several pieces and also reducing the amount of nodes.....it was fun but time consuming......I as well did alot of tweeking on the castle......

I found the image of Cinderella's Castle online and removed the background from it in my Corel PSP then saved as a png brought into Inkscape and converted then tweeked. I worked the size to match the size that I used when creating the background paper....You'll notice I've done a raised feature up off the page and as well glittered the edges of the castle all around to give it some glimmer.......

The frame was fun to do......I wanted to do a special touch on these two pictures in the frames as I thought it was a sweet moment at a magical place!!! I created the double heart from from just a regular heart shape and a scalloped heart shape......then added the wording as well......I like how this turned out and believe it has lots of possiblities of use........After I printed the background layer I did the edges with some Tim Holtz distress inks to bring the background layer of blue around the top layer........I love ribbon so I thought it would be a nice touch to the layout....

I thought I would share with you all the files I created to do this layout....Please, if you would like these files feel free to download them.....It makes my day if I'm able to create something others also enjoy!!!!!

Completed!!!! WHEW....these took me as awhile...as I totally created the frame and the blackout of the teapot bottom layer and the wording and shadow.....I as well had previously copied the menu from the "Afternoon Tea" this family enjoyed while at Walt Disney World and made it into more a "minature size" so I could fit it on the page.........I wanted to make this layout especially nice....I hope I've done it the justice they will love!!!

I thought maybe some of you may be interested in this file....so I decided to save it in different stages and have uploaded each of these stages into Rapidshare....if you would like to have these files either click the image below or click the designated download link....I hope some of you will find a use for these.......

"Vanity Angel" -- Rebecca

Here's a file.....

I created as a special request......then I thought perhaps someone else may also have a use for this so I thought I would share it with you all.....Below you will find 5 different files......one set in .scut format....one complete set in .svg....then individuals of each element......Also, just a note...when you go to cut the back layer you can either resize the circle to the size you want it OR copy the main piece....paste it then select it to be a blackout shadow and it will make it just the perfect size....Hope that makes sense....

Ok....Here's the 1st Page

Of the....I don't know how many Scrapbook Pages I've been requested to make for my boss.....These are her two daughters and they LOVE LOVE LOVE swapping and collecting the Disney Trading Pins.......I had the opportunity to view all the AMAZING pins they've collected...all I can say is WOW!!!!! I got SUCH a kick out of how protective the oldest was of the pins.....I was lucky to be able to photograph the pages of her book!!! :) She's a sweetheart and I was tickled....

I wanted to create an interactive piece to reflect at least 1 of the Disney Trading Pins......I choose the Epcot pin which actually DOES spin......I created the file in Inkscape from just viewing the picture of the actual pin.......I'm quite happy with the way this turned out....I think it sets off the whole page........I'm attaching the svg file below if any of you are interested in it....I know there are alot of Disney fans out there so maybe someone will find some use for it!!!!!

I also decided I wanted to create a unique background page to use containing images of the pins....so I did a search on the internet.....actually ebay was a wonderful source for images of some different trading pins then did some work on them in Corel PSP and designed and created this background paper.......I really like how it turned out....I'm attaching a file of this as well if anyone is interested in this file....please feel free to download it!!!!
